A bunch of prefabs....
« on: April 21, 2012, 01:22:55 am »
I had a about 10 other things, but they dissappeared..... hmmm.....

1st image has a:

Shower
Toilet
Lever
An Auto Cannon
A Broadside Cannon
A small ugly Turret
A Holographic Desk thingy
A Console/Control thingy

2nd image has two things:

A small sniper like turret
A small burst fire Pulse turret

I was use to modelling things in the 300k polys, So its a real hard step to go from high poly counts to very low poly counts. I constantly have the urge to set things to high......

Real Men drive vehicles without knowing how fast they are moving or how much fuel remains in the tank.

ill have to either figure out what is wrong with my Obj. exports or get 3ds max installed (still have yet to find the bloody thing).

If they fix blender support then ill be glad to volunteer.

I love the look of the two smaller turrets:) The sideways design is nice.

I prefer sketchup, Ive done some pretty beast things on there, Ill have to relearn 3ds max.

IMO if google got there act together and put in supported rigging, animating, texturing etc into sketchup it would probably be the most powerful editor out there, untill then its don't stand much chance.

I don't want to be hatin' on Sketchup, but I would say to stay away from it  :-X.  I would go with Blender ( I use this  ;)), but in your case if you have Max I would probably use that.

Its amazing when you work with plugins, its can do an enormous amount of stuff, however its a mess because every1 codes their plugins differently,

some plugins cost money some don't.

etc, that's why I want Google to basically recode the plugins of the community and implement proper support.
