No Visible NPR movements



AP/CP: You basically get a 'bonus' for having a certain PI per planet. You also get more CP for more planets, and more points for the appropriate tech levels. Both the bonus points and the tech points are log or partial-power modified; that is, as you get more AP/CP it will take more levels/PI to get the next AP/CP. With the way things are set up, the limit for the PI bonus is 45/planet, and this will net you 7 AP and 10 CP. Having 4 planets with 35 PI each will get you the same bonus, to give a really rough example of how that scales. Industry/Efficiency levels will already begin to stop giving you an instant AP/CP, but soon will take 2-3 levels per point.

Fog: Despite that you can't see them, there *are* active NPR's. Not many, but enough that if you don't use these opening rounds, you may find yourselves surrounded by potential hostiles. And this time, I made most NPR's pretty likely to become hostile >:D

Asteroids: Are mine-able. I have a table and everything. FYI. You'll need to make another 'asteroid' hazard check though, and it takes an action.

Exploration: Is separate than just "flying into a system." I'm working on a table for this. It'll likely be modified to yield results based on system type.

Random NPC's: Should start showing up when you fly to new systems next round.

After communicating with you, he informs you that this mission will take 2 FTL jumps (If you accept, I'll auto-move your fleet for 1 AP/round; you have FTL 1 and could finish in one round with FTL 2). If successful, it will also provide good will with the NPR he belongs to. Per the nature of the event, any hostiles that show up will damage you first, then him; you fail if he dies or you run out of ships.

NPC's They're rolled randomly. HT, you rolled no result. They're generally friendlier than NPR's at first, though if you're at war with every nearby NPR of the type I roll they won't offer you their mission. Since you can't know what they're up to, putting the necessary AP towards the fleet(s) involved will let me know you're interested and I'll move the ships where they need to go.

NPR War I'm not simulating all of the NPR's interactions with each other. I would if I had made a simulation-program, but this is run by hand. Instead, when I feel that two NPR's should clash, there will be a "War" hazard placed in the system. If you fly into the system and lose the roll, you risk having ships destroyed.
