"TIE" Fighter:P
/canon nazi

The cockpit is way too fat... but I don't know if you can make it any smaller right now...

Looking at it now, I could of reduced the width of the cockpit by 1 block, shame the file didn't save.

Unless your doing a 1:1 make the wings a lil larger in height and length (but not depth), it will make the wings look thinner and the whole thing will look more proporsional

A little better :P
Still too small... The window should be bigger, and the guns are built into the body, not attached at the bottom.

This should give you a good idea

Yeah, I thought version 1 looked the best.  Cool work and certainly bound to appear eventually :).

Edit: or if the cockpit is too small...you should actually scale up the "wings" as you still need to fight a guy inside.

Does anyone else want round cockput glass and solar panel wing prefabs now?

I can make them, but for some reason my custom prefabs seem to not render.

What I'd suggest, from my own efforts with the TIE, is to pop the double-cannon in underneath. I also found that the cockpit can be a good ball shape by putting catwalk at the bottom of the ball instead of a driving pad. Feel free to steal my ball cockpit work. and play around with the design.

Sure, I'll go ahead and lock it.  WillardDavidson, we'll have a proper part of the forum for you to request prefabs with the newer version.  Better that you ask then anyways. =]
